Kaitlin was looking for ways to honor the support she received during her time at Colby. By naming the College as a beneficiary of her retirement account, she could make a simple commitment now that would impact Colby in the long run. The connection she feels with other Colbians—a friendly wave to someone with a Colby bumper sticker or reaching out to peers in her role as a class volunteer—inspires Kaitlin to play a role in supporting future students.

Kaitlin has made a habit of giving back to Colby through her time and talent. During her time at Colby, she worked as a research assistant and was Editor in Chief of the Echo, Colby’s independent student-run newspaper. She was also an active member of the Colby Volunteer Center, and her passion for volunteering carried on after graduation: Kaitlin has been a member of the Alumni Council since 2018 and serves as chair of the Colby Fund Class Gift Committee. Kaitlin works in marketing and lives in Boston, Massachusetts.
